The interactive panel will focus on cleantech to market, specific to energy efficiency and renewables. Efficiency is widely being recognized as the 'first fuel', or the most important energy resource. We will introduce Berkeley Lab, and the exciting DOE tech-to-market programs it executes, such as Cyclotron Road, JUMP, Small Business Vouchers and Race to Zero. These provide students with an opportunity to access to world class scientists and test labs, co-develop technologies with industry experts, and gain acceptance into key acceleration and incubation programs to eventually launch startups in the field of energy efficiency. We also showcase Singularity University whose mission is aligned to DOE for ensuring ample, accessible and sustainable energy for all, through its tech-to-market incubator and accelerator programs.
